The finest woodwind, brass and percussion players at Brigham Young University perform with the Wind Symphony, under the direction of David Blackinton. The BYU Wind Symphony has an extremely active concert season and the University administration has a strong commitment to this ensemble as an international touring group. In recent years the Wind Symphony has performed in the British Isles, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Philipines. Mainland China, New Zealand, Australia, Finland, the Baltic States and Russia, as well as the Northwest United States and Canada.This band has received national recognition in performances for the:
