St. Petersburg Admiralty Navy Band — Alexei Karabanov, Conductor
Alexei is a fine conductor with a great interest in wind band literature from around the world. We have been fortunate enough to host him on our campus, and our Wind Symphony has shared program with his musicians in St. Petersburg.
Riga Wind Orchestra (Latvia) — Janis Purnis, Conductor
Janis also has a great interest in bands from around the world. Dr. Blackinton was guest conductor for this fine band and lecturer at the Musical Academie in Riga during May of 2000.
