Brigham Young University Bands has created this statement to communicate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our practices of information collection and security for this website.
This site includes forms that asks propsective members to provide us with contact information (including name, phone, and email address), unique identifiers (including BYU ID number), and demographic information (including gender and ZIP code). We use this information to contact the user as necessary and to send information about BYU Bands. Unique identifiers are collected to verify the user's identity, for use as ID numbers in our record system, and for other university purposes.
It is the policy of BYU Bands to collect the least amount of personal information required to fulfill required duties and responsibilities. You may choose whether or not to provide personal information to BYU Bands via the Internet. If you choose not to provide the personal information we request, you can still visit most pages on our site, but you will be unable to access certain online services that involve our interaction with you.
