BYU Invitational Concert Band Festival

The Brigham Young University Concert Band Festival began in 1994. The festival replaced our Utah Valley Honor Bands—at the request of local directors.

The event provides an early festival/adjudication experience for local junior and senior high school bands. Each band is given the opportunity to perform in the de Jong Concert Hall for adjudication from two outstanding in-state educators. Each ensemble then moves to a rehearsal room for thirty additional minutes of clinic time—provided by one of two nationally renowned educators.
